Rental Reservations & Info !

So, you’ve found the perfect home for your island vacation, the dates you need are available and you’re ready to make your reservation??  Awesome!!

To make a reservation, we ask for either Visa or MasterCard credit card information to place your home on hold for the dates you’ve chosen.  No charges will be placed on the card at this time!

After we set your reservation, a Rental Agreement along with a Confirmation and Billing Statement will be emailed to you and we ask that you return the signed agreement along with a 50% deposit to our office within 7 days.  You may choose to place the payment on your credit card but we will have to add a 5% processing fee.   The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival date.  A minimum security deposit of $500 is required.  This will be processed on your credit card as a ‘soft hold’ on the day of your arrival and will be released within 10-15 days if no damage to the property.

Cancellations received more than 30 days in advance will be refunded at 50% of the deposit only if the unit is re-rented.  Any cancellation within 30 days will be refunded at 50% of the TOTAL and ONLY if the rental week is replaced by another rental!  Otherwise, unfortunately, we will not be able to refund any amount.  Any other extenuating circumstance will still require a minimum $250 charge for administrative costs.  Prices quoted are cash prices, credit card payments will have a 5% processing fee added to the amount charged.  We prefer all payment in advance by check to save you the 5%!

A 7% “Room Tax” is added to all rental rates as required by PR Tourism.

All of these rentals have a fully equipped kitchen and 1 or more bathrooms.

Pre-arrival shopping can be arranged for a $50 charge, if time permits.  Christmas, New Year’s and February vacation weeks are the busiest 6 weeks on the island and fill up early.

Rental Car reservations MUST be made EARLY!  The agents get booked solid . . . so don’t delay!  We can assist or you can do-it-yourself . . . see our section on Rental Cars here.

There are 3 prices indicated for each rental.

• Low Season is Mid-May to Mid-November
• Season rates are for Mid-November to Mid-May
• Prices for Holiday weeks are higher:  Thanksgiving/Xmas/NewYears/President’s Week/Easter . . .

Extra days can be prorated.

Arrivals are accepted any day of the week depending on availability.  Holiday arrivals (Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, etc.) may be charged an additional $50.   Check-ins after 6:30 pm may be charged an additional $50.

Rates are somewhat negotiable and a four (4) night minimum plus a cleaning charge may be available in particular houses especially in Low Season.

COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Most of the properties are extremely well equipped with all your vacation needs and we’ll send you an inventory of your rental along with the confirmation.

We suggest and expect our owners to have the following:

Washer and Dryer
“Ease” in locking and good security
Beach towels, beach chairs and an umbrella
Fans in every room/a cistern ( the water goes out)/Flashlights (power goes out)
Comfortable furniture inside and out
Everything needed to cook and serve basic meals
GAS Grill
AC (is NOT available in every house!)
TV with at least a VCR/DVD and some movies and a CD player

Bug Juice/Sun Screen
Basic condiments/paper towels/TP and some soap
Satellite TV and WiFi are in some houses/check descriptions or features if important to you . . .

BIG GAME ON? . . . TV in the house doesn’t get that channel? . . . there are Bars/Restaurants that will provide sports coverage!  Be sure to call ahead!
WiFi . . . Roy’s Café and Black Beards in Isabel II . . . and the Trust in Esperanza.

There are 2 Grocery Stores/many Colmados and a Pharmacy in Isabel II . . . plus an Emergency Room if needed.

In season, we suggest you call ahead for Bio-Bay Tour Reservations!  If you are coming to Vieques specifically for the Bio-Bay, please check the moon… those little Pyrodinium Bahamense don’t show much in the full moon!!
